It's been a long time since I made a post

I can't believe I haven't posted here since May. I just haven't had a whole lot to say. Since I remarried, life has been much less turbulent. My husband and I are building a great life together and the ex and his psychotic brother are a thing of the past. My kids love and adore my husband and they call him Daddy, and life is good.

We hit a few bumps in the road over the past couple of months, but where one door closes, another one opens and a whole new world is now our oyster. Come January, maybe February, I will have a great big surprise for everyone, but I have to keep everything under wraps for right now.

To all the single moms out there, I want to say this. Being a mom isn't easy, being a single mom is tough as Hell, but things do get better, so just hang in there, and if you need help, you know you can always post here and I will do my best to assist you with whatever you need.

Take Care.

  1. I really like your site. I am glad to see for sites for single parents whether you are a mom or a dad. I am running my own single dad site. Being a single parent is very tough and it is the hardest work I have ever done but, it is completely worth it and I have no regrets.

  3. Take good care of yourself – There is so much more to this than one might think. Pay attention to your body and mind. You have to first take care of yourself in order to take care of your kids. Exercise daily. Eat right and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Get plenty of sleep. Watch your stress levels and try to avoid it at all costs. Smile, try it! It helps relieve stress.

  4. single mom financial advice is out there, but you are going to have to get out there and find it yourself. In my years as councilor, I encouraged hundreds of single moms who needed financial assistance. However, most of the women I knew failed to actively look for a way to get that help. Most simply endured their situation without seeking to actually change it. You don't want to do this. If you are in a bad situation as a single mother, get out there and see if you can get the help that you need to make a difference.

  5. Anthony,
I disagree. They didn't fail to actively look for ways. I know that I investigated every single resource I knew about, was told about, read about, or heard about, and it was always the same excuses. I didn't fit their profile, they were out of funds, etc, etc.

Take the time to actually read this blog (especially the posts that relate the Child Support Enforcement Agency)and you'll see.

"Counselors" are much the same as the people who want tell everyone what they KNOW to be true, which this blog proves false, sitting up on a sanctimonious high horse and having no idea what the truth really is... but it's all in this blog.
